Our accreditations and what they mean for you

Did you know that less than 6% of insurance brokers hold Chartered Insurance Broker status?
(August 2020)

We were surprised too!

As Professional Indemnity specialists, many of our clients operate highly regulated businesses in traditional professions such as accountancy, the law, construction and the financial sector. These businesses themselves commit to high standards of professionalism and we see our Chartered status as reassurance for our clients that we do the right things, acting with their needs and interests as our priority. Chartered status embodies what ‘stand out’ brokers should look like.

To achieve chartered status, we needed to prove that:

  • we have a high level of technical competence in the team
  • that we adhere to a published code of ethics and
  • that we commit to ongoing training and development for all staff.

Of course, this is no different to what we were doing previously, but now Ntegrity has the official corporate Chartered Insurance Broker status from the Chartered Insurance Institute to display proudly!

'A' grade Gilchrist Standard

The Gilchrist Standard is a relatively new assessment of insurance brokers, designed to identify how well firms rank against each other in key areas. Our compliance advisors, RWA Compliance, suggested that we apply for a Gilchrist Standard assessment in 2019.

We were delighted with the result! The auditor gave us an "A" grade and said:

"This is an exceptional audit result and the 'A' grading seems well deserved. A firm in the top 10% of their peers in terms of professional standards."

A colleague added: "Achieving an 'A' rating is not easy. A firm needs to demonstrate high-levels of professionalism across eighteen business critical factors. NTEGRITY's achievement is a clear indication of the firm's professional practices, conduct standards and operational performance."

Finally:
